On the afternoon of March 12th, the Primary Section held a special lecture on mental health for the graduating classes of Grade 6 in the lecture hall which was given by Wang Manyun, a national Level 1 psychological consultant with the Senior High Department. Combining the age and psychological structure characteristics of the sixth grade students, Ms. Wang guided the students to understand emotions and learn how to master emotions with the theme of ‘My Emotions Are My Own Decisions’ and the methods of case analysis, audio-visual appreciation and other methods. The friendly and natural language as well as the lively and interesting classroom teaching left a deep impression on the children.
Overall, this lecture has played a positive role in the mental health growth of the students from the graduating classes of the Primary Section, and also promoted the teachers' learning of the professional knowledge of mental health.
